Located just one hours’ drive north of Brisbane at Caloundra and close to the pristine waters of Golden Beach, the Rydges Oasis Resort is an ideal location for the site of Australia’s Avatar Master Course.

You can integrate the day’s exercises while walking amongst the resort’s 10 acres of landscaped palm gardens and waterlily filled lagoons, or do Feel-Its along the waterway to Bullcock Beach and main street Caloundra.

There are two styles of guest rooms available: Hotel Spa rooms have 2 queen-sized beds, tea/coffee making facilities; airconditioning; bathroom with separate shower; corner spa bath; and hairdryer. Studio rooms have 1 queen-size bed; kitchenette with basic cooking facilities; bathroom with shower; air conditioning and a small outside area. Maximum two people in studio rooms. Please specify Hotel Spa room or Studio room when you make your reservation.

Hotel facilities include currency exchange facilities, spa, tennis courts, high speed Internet access, dry cleaning, and room service.

The average high temperature in April is 79°F (26°C). The average low temperature is 62°F (17°C). Dress is casual.

Rydges Oasis Resort is located on the southern tip of Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast at Caloundra. The resort is 200 metres from the clear & calm ocean waters of Pumicestone Passage and Golden Beach and a 15 minute walk to the famous Kings Beach area.

The Netherlands in springtime is a land of blooming tulip fields framed by waterways, lush meadows, and coastal dunes. The small, idyllic Egmond aan Zee is a 1000-year-old coastal town just northwest of Amsterdam. It’s a wonderful site for The Master Course, with a historic downtown and miles of walking paths. Where the buildings of Egmond aan Zee stop, the unspoiled natural beauty of the Noord Holland Dune reserve begins.

Hotel Zuiderduin is perfectly situated with an easy walk to the city center or the beaches. Rooms are equipped with television, telephone, and alarm-clock radios. The hotel also has a fitness center, heated indoor pool, sauna, beauty salon, and squash courts, among other amenities.

Temperatures during April average in the mid 50s (13°C). Warm clothing and an umbrella are recommended. Dress is casual.

Travel

By train/taxi: From Schiphol Airport to train station Amsterdam Sloterdijk (approx. 10 min., four trains each hour). At train station Amsterdam Sloterdijk, take a train to Alkmaar/Den Helder and exit at train station Heiloo (approx. 30 min., three trains each hour). Take a taxi to Egmond aan Zee (10 min.)

By car: Leave Schiphol via A4 and head toward Amsterdam. Switch directly to A9 in the direction Haarlem/Alkmaar. At the roundabout Alkmaar go toward Heiloo/Den Helder. After the third traffic light turn left to Egmond. Follow the signs to Egmond aan Zee. In Egmond aan Zee drive straight onto the Y-junction. Follow the “centrum” sign. Follow sign “Strand-Zuid” to the “Admiraal de Ruyterweg,” which moves straight onto the “Zeeweg.”

Returning to Asia, The Master Course will be in Korea's ancient cultural city, Gyeongju, known as "the museum without walls." The two supreme treasures of Gyeongju are the Pulguksa Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Korea, and Sokkuram (a stone grotto) known worldwide for the granite statue of Buddha and its mysterious architectural structure. Gyeongju was the center of a golden period of Korean culture, and the remains of the imaginative and artistic people of the Shilla Kingdom have been designated as one of the 10 most important ancient cultural cities.

The Hotel Hyundai Gyeongju is situated at the Pomun Lake Resort, a modern area of energetic growth catering to tourists. The elegant and refined exterior of the hotel, its convenient facilities, and the year-round hot spring swimming pools and other sports facilities make it an ideal place to stay. Gyeongju is located about 350 km southeast of Seoul. International travelers can fly into Seoul and from there to Ulsan or Pohang airports. Taxis and rental cars are available at both locations. The Hotel Hyundai Gyeongju is at the Pomun Lake Resort, about 15 minutes from downtown Gyeongju.

Star’s Edge is revisiting The Sauerland Stern Hotel due to their outstanding hospitality and ease with which they make our people feel at home. In the land of 1000 mountains lies the village of Willingen. The charming countryside of the Upper Sauerland region offers Avatars from around the world an experience to be remembered.

Stroll down the village streets of Willingen doing Label-Its. Feel the mountains as you experience a chairlift ride to the top, and enjoy the view as you take one of many paths down the mountain to arrive back home. This is a thoroughly modern hotel with a great staff. It even includes a movie theater.

August in Germany is ideal. Temperatures range from 58°F (14°C) in the evening to a high of 77°F (28°C) during the day. Dress is casual.

Travel

For international travelers, fly into the Frankfurt International Airport. From there take a shuttle or taxi to The Sauerland Stern Hotel, about a 2-hour drive. The hotel has offered shuttle service from the airport on July 27, 2012, at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. This service will cost 30 euros per person. Indicate on your accommodations form if you want a shuttle from the Frankfurt Airport to the hotel. Returning shuttles are offered on August 4 and August 6 in the morning.
